Disinfectant for Agriculture is essential to use to combat the various pests which badly affect crops and have a very serious impact on the economic output of farms. Microbial pathogens (bacteria, virus and fungi) affect the healthy growth processes of plants in many different ways. For example, it may reduce crop stand by eliminating the plants, it may reduce inputs such as light, CO2 or water, it may affect rates of metabolic and growth processes directly or they may remove or consume previously produced material. Thus pathogen control by agricultural disinfectant plays a key role in safeguarding crop productivity against competition from weeds, animal pests, pathogens and viruses.

How this Hypochlorous Solution (HOCl) Generator works

Common Salt (NaCl) is mixed with water. If the pH in the feed water is high, an appropriate pH balancer is added to reduce the pH. This system has a generator that has Titanium electrodes coated with precious metal oxides.  DC current passes between the electrodes, converting the salt solution into Hypochlorous Solution or Electrolyzed Water. This is a very effective disinfectant for agriculture.

Dosage

For an Irrigation volume of 100 cubic meter per acre, if 20 ppm of Hypochlorous Solution is to be applied, then 2 kgs of HOCl is used.
Hence, the required capacity will be 2 kgs per week per acre, which is 285 grams/day.

The above dose is suggested but the actual dose rate depends upon the condition of the crop, the weather, and the infection etc.

A potential alternative to fungicides to control foliar disease is the use of electrolyzed oxidizing (EO) water. EO water is generated by electrolysis of a dilute solution of Sodium Chloride (Salt) in an Electrolysis Chamber.
